The Opera Atelier, in collaboration with The BridgePrep Academy, is pleased to present Arts Adventures. The Arts Adventures Program is funded through the Children's Trust and administered by the Miami Dade Department of Cultural Affairs. The Opera Atelier thanks these outstanding organizations for their essential support. This is the fifth year of The Opera Atelier's collaboration with BridgePrep Academy. The Opera Atelier is thankful for the support of the faculty, staff, and administration, and especially to Mr. Guillermo Gonzalez, Principal of The BridgePrep Academy, for opening its doors to The Opera Atelier, for the benefit of the children of Little Havana.
The Arts Adventure Program is an arts immersion program for students ages 7-11. It will take place from March 21, 2022, to April 7, 2022, at the BridgePrep Academy in Miami's Little Havana.
Project activities will include a full-day week with afterschool during Spring Break (March 21 to 25). The program also includes two afterschool weeks of creative activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Participants will experience opera, dance, creative writing, and fine arts, and benefit from learning to appreciate and enjoy these art forms. A visit to the Perez Museum is planned as part of the first week's activities. as well as attending a theatre performance.
Eligibility: Students ages 7-11. This is a residency program. Only Interamerican Campus BridgePrep students are eligible.
Location: BridgePrep Academy ~ Interamerican Campus.
Dates:
From 3/21/22 to 3/25/22 ~ full week 9 am to 3 pm
Aftercare 3 pm to 6 pm
After School March 29, 31, and April 4 and 6 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
Theater performance date: Saturday, April 2, 2022. 11:30 AM.
Tuition: Free
Enrollment Fee: $25
