This in-person event is a unique opportunity to learn from the very talented artist and violinist Erzhan Kulibaev. The conversation will focus on the life and career of Ida Haendel, a legendary violinist, and will be followed by a master class with the internationally acclaimed violinist Erzhan Kulibaev, Jacqueline Solorzano, The Opera Atelier Executive Director, will be presenting a conversation about Ida Haendel's life and career, with our guest artist Erzhan Kulibaev.

They both had the opportunity and privilege to meet and share with Ms. Haendel, their passion and love for the violin, and they will remember and highlight their appreciation, esteem and admiration for the unforgettable Polish-British-Canadian violinist Ida Haendel, who was a very dear and honored resident of the State of Florida for many years. Come to learn some episodes of her life, and some of the performances that have remained for posterity and the enjoyment of violin lovers.

During the master class, Kulibaev will share his insights and techniques, and will work with selected participants to help them improve their skills.

He toured performing concerts in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, USA, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland and Japan.Erzhan has recorded a CD of chamber pieces by Józef Krogulski and Józef Nowakowski for The Fryderyk Chopin Institute in Warsaw. This album was rated as best new classical album in December 2016 by Gramophone magazine:“This superbly recorded disc is the most enjoyable chamber music disc – and the most interesting discovery – to come my way for some time”.Erzhan started to play violin at the age of six. Graduated from The Central Special Music School of Moscow State Conservatory P. I. Tchaikovsky. Since 2004 studied in the class of the Prof. Zakhar Bron at The Queen Sofia High School of Music in Madrid and Prof. Pierre Amoyal in Mozarteum University in Salzburg (Austria).In 2006, 2010 and 2011 he was awarded an Honorary Diploma by the Queen of Spain Sofia and played in the Royal Palace of El Pardo. Currently, Erzhan holds the teaching position at the Katarina Gurska High School of music in Madrid.Erzhan Kulibaev is supported by “Talent Unlimited”.
