Hello everyone! This is my first composition, which I would like to release and dedicate to the Republic Day of Kazakhstan, October 25, 2025. The idea for this piece was originally conceived as a duet for violin and kobyz, but I believe it can also be performed by two violins. I intentionally wrote it as a short piece — I never aimed to make it longer — and I feel it turned out exactly the length I envisioned. It is written in the traditional Kazakh style, in a three-part form: the outer sections follow the character of küy, while the middle section is an improvisation that reflects a meditative state — a person contemplating the boundless steppe and thinking about something eternal. This recording was made together with Cihat Aşkın in Çanakkale, Turkey, during his Summer Academy. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Cihat for joining me and sharing this special moment — the first recording of my very first composition.
