Saturday, May 13, 2023, international artists Eglise Gutiérrez, mezzo-soprano Mabel Ledo, and bass-baritone Jorge Arcila will perform works from the belcanto repertory to celebrate the contributions of Maria Malibran . The event will take place at the Arva Parks McCabe Auditorium of the Central Branch of the Miami-Dade Library. Daniel Daroca will be on hand to accompany the artists and provide brief historical background about Malibran and her circle.
