The central choreography, The Embrace, based on the life and work of American painter Edward Hopper, explores the encounters and dis-encounters of the couple through modern dance idiom dramaturgy of the body. The two mature dancer/choreographers, Carmen Werner and Leyson Ponce, with important international credits to their names, transcend the youth culture prevalent in the dance and ballet world, proving that artists can dance gloriously at any age.

The Opera Atelier brings a fusion of opera and contemporary dance around the theme of love. The Embrace emphasizes the wisdom of the body, exploring the limits and intersections of the respective languages of dance and opera along a common expressive thread.
